Default Have a question about a muffler

I have a stock exhaust on my 00 dx seden now. It recently broke (crack all the way around) and I need to replace it. I dont want to get another stock muffler but I cant really afford somthing expensive. What is the cheapest aftermarket exhaust you can get? I just need somthing that is axleback but it doesnt have to make alot of noise. Thanks

go to a local muffler shop and have one custom made... that will be the cheapest way.

Yeah, just buy a muffler somewhere (I havea DNX I got from Jegs for about $80... I think they have cheaper ones, but my DNX sounds great imo) and take it to a muffler shop... it shouldn't cost much for them to just bend an axle-back system and weld the muffler on.

Hey I got a cherry bomb exhaust. I installed it myself and it seemed to work great for a couple weeks. The problem is now I cant go over 80 mph easily. The car seems to struggle alot when I try to get it to go faster than 80. Any suggestions?

it's not the muffler. it's a civic man. why you driving so fast anyways?

also, my 1st tip for you going faster: lose the subs

2" is actually a decent size... you might want to check for leaks.
