headers for 02 civic
 

I'm looking for a set of headers for my car. I have a K & N CAI and 2 1/4" straight through exhaust. Will a header make much of a difference in performance? Does it go all the way to the cat or just to the first joint in the exhaust system? The joint right below where the haeder bolts on? THANKS
