headers and cold air

alright i decided to go deeper into my pockets and go with a cold air intake. right now i have a Magnaflow cat-back and my next buy will be DC Sport 4-2-1 one piece ceramic headers. then after ill will buy AEM cold air intake. i found the headers for about $280 shipped and the intake for about $190 shipped. my question is, besides ebay, are these good prices? also, about how much power should i expect to gain from each one sepretly and from both total?

thank you

congrats on being smart and getting a CAI ;)

that seems like a decent price for both if its not ebay...but why wont you go ebay? you will get the same CAI and header for way less than that.

seperately: the CAI will give you about 6 or 7 w/ the exhaust, the Header about 7ish...together you'll get around 9 or 10.

6 or 7 + 7ish = 9 or 10.

Alright.

I guess Nail is just giving a modest number.

that...and you never seem to get both numbers added together. an intake alone may give you 5 hp, a header alone may give you 8...but together they'll only give you about 10.

alright im gena take your guys advice and go with ebay...im low on money and this is the cheapest ill prolly get these for. i found a AEM cold air for $187 shipped and DC 4-2-1 one piece headers for $263 shipped for a total of about $450. im only saving a few bucks. Both of them are from the same seller who has a very high positive feed back percent, 99.8%. seems like everyone whos bought from him has been very happy.

any suggestions of comments on these would be helpful on deciding.

thank you

That looks like a 4-1 header.

ya the picture shows a 4-1 but the part number that he gives is for a 4-2-1. if u scroll down it shows the part number with applications and the style even says 4-2-1.

I would double check by emailing the seller before you buy it. If it's from eBay, you wanna make sure everything is correct. Besides, it could always be the part number and application that's wrong.
