For low maintainance, low cost, and the peace of mind on very rainy days where deep puddles are like everywhere, get the SRI. For better performance, get the CAI. Although I heard there are bypass valves for CAI nowadays so that you dont get hydrolock... But I agree with my05civic, as well as many others, the AEM V2 kicks serious ***!
ORIGINAL: my05civic
misc: the v2 is a "short ram" on the em2s/d17s

with cai, you get air just a little bit cooler (the air gets warmed when it passed through the tube near the engine block) but the throttle response is not as noticeable because the air takes longer to travel up there
cai, sri, both offer basically the same performance, but the v2, supposedly a combination and not actually a sri, is the best
Word alright guys i read all your responses and im going with teh AEM V2
I mean something short will go better for me..... To many deep puddle here in maine during fall and springs. Dont wanna be sucking water up all the time.. Thanks

read this:
to be honest, cold air intakse arent that great either, by the time the air gets to the motor, it has warmed back up. That is why there hasnt been a difference (if at all) between CAI & SRI -Remmy
and V2 FTW!
