Hey, just starting out...
dc is one of the best, but if i may suggest the skunk2 short shifter. it is made of billet steel instead of 6061-t6 aluminum. i used to shift pretty hard and i broke 2 aluminum ones in about two weeks. havent had a problem with the S2 in well over two years.

My short shifter was a bitch, if you have no idea what you're doing then have someone else do it. If you have somewhat of an idea then it should be alright to do yourself

In terms of parts though is this what I need? DC Short shift They are showing 2 types of equipment. I'm not sure which one I need for my 99. I'm not necessarily getting the DC Sport ones but in terms of the right equipment I want to make sure I get the right one. Thanks!
you need the one on top, the other one is for an accord or prelude. also look into a bushing kit for your shifter. but for now all you need is the one that looks like a shiny stick. (not trying to be sarcastic) and it is a 1 part deal.
