My neighbor put an intake on his 07 Si and it BOGS and revs slower then my stock 07 Si. Whats up with that???

 

did he disconnect the neg terminal on the battery to let the computer reset?

 

About 5hp and thats to the flywheel. You are probably teatering at the 100whp mark now. Intakes are kinda hard to mess up, especially when we are talking less than 100hp and a stock exhaust. Any real gains will be in your head. my05civic is right, for the best results you should unhook your battery and reset the ECU. Make it re-learn the air flow by letting it idle for about 3 minutes with no interferance.


rule of thumb: for every 10 degrees colder your intake air temperature is, it will gain you a 1% increase in horsepower. Take it for what its worth.
