how much to torque headers

Default how much to torque headers

just wondering what to torque the header bolts to, d17, 02 civic lx

not sure of the exact numbers, but you dont want them super tight. Hand tight with a bit of muscle will do... look into some ARP studs for a really great seal

Um, I think I just did mine "reasonably tight." If you're worried about it though go pick up a Haynes manual and it'll be right in there.

all you have to do is hand tighten them. and after about a week of use go over and make sure its tight.

5-10lbs. i know the intake manifold is only 5lbs...not positive on the exhaust.
