Default i decided to get headers

and i think im going with the Tsudo headers from ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tsudo...QQcmdZViewItem

but i know 4 2 1 are midrange power and i think thats what i want bc i wont be going over 4 000 rpm in regular driving
bc of gas milage but a friend of mine is saying that since vtec kicks in around 5 000 there wont be no point in the headers
but what im thinking is cant they do there own jobs sepretly and still both produce power ?? or will the headers be pointless and i should go with 4 1 headers?

What will you do with the second header?

Anyway, gas mileage should actually improve slightly, if that header is worth a damn. They're designed to let the engine breathe - which frees up horsepower as a side effect of the ability of the engine to breathe.

go with 4-2-1. neither the vtec engagement nor the header will offer a noticeable gain in power.

btw, it's header, not headers. civics only have 1 header.

They wont be pointless I got a megan raceing 4-2-1 and I love it.

4-2-1 you typically feel more gains in the lower and mid ranges. The 4-1 only in the top end ( although I've heard some people say they feel some mid range aswell). Your not going to loose any power in the top range with a 4-2-1 headeryou just wont get any extra gain.

I hear megan racing ones are nice but I'm going with a dc sports 4-2-1 ceramic coated. They are $350, to me it is worth the extra money.

Thanks, and yea I don't plan on ever getting rid of mine. If you are only keeping your car for 2 years then get the Tsudo header.
