Default i need help with finding a exhaust

i have a 2000 honda civic ex and im wanting to add an aftermarket exhaust on it. but heres the deal im 24 years old and im NOT wanting a ricer sound. i want an exhaust that has a deep clean sound but not ridiculously loud almost stock sound but obviously it wont be a stock exhaust. any ideas kinda on a tight budget so lets make the best out of it. magaflow. or i could just buy the muffler part to get that type of sound. i dont really care about performance. id rather have a nice sound to it

Apex-i WS2 FTW
it'll cost you a little over $400 shipped.
Here's the cheapest place I have seen

quiet exhausts aren't cheap
exhaust is really one of those things you get what you pay for. the more you pay (as long as the price is a normal price and not a ripoff), the better it's going to sound.

I have a PaceSetter cat back on my 95 1.6L V-Tec and its honestly not loud, and not expensive. I was going to go to Napa or Autozone for OEM replacement junk and discovered that for less I could get the PaceSetter monza series. I love it, it is louder than stock but in no way is it screaming loud like the teenagers like to have.....and some of the older guys.

PaceSetter 881429 around $305 plus a bit of shipping.

Hell, I just google-shopping searched it and organized by price and found just over $200 for it.

Pacesetter is crap. You got lucky if yours fit right. I had one of their headers for my old accord and the weilds sucked and it didnt fit right. Another good exhaust that is nice and mellow is the magnaflow for the civic.

I got mine for $300 (used) shipped. I don't think I could ask for a better exhaust system. I bet the total cost of a welded (onto stock piping) WS2 muffler would cost around $250 at least, depending on what the shops charge in your area.

The WS2 universal muffler itself is around $200.
