Meh, an intake is an intake. The filter is what really matters. Get yourself an AEM dry flow and ditch the ebay filter.

theRDRman 10-07-2010 07:07 PM

how much are those?

DaOne 10-07-2010 07:41 PM

like 50 bucks.

theRDRman 10-07-2010 07:46 PM

damn and thats is prolly in canada does it increase hp. this increses 4-5 hp already why is the dry flow better?

and is mine an oil filer or a dry flow filter?

oh i never said anything bout the pvc pipe so thats a good thing i have touched the filter it seems dry but i have heard/seen that the red ones are oiled ones

what will the dryflow filter do performance wise compared to the one i got

DaOne 10-07-2010 07:50 PM

if its dry then its dry lol
if its got oil then oil?
lol

btw the car will not overheat from not having the pcv pipe under there..
AND try editing your posts instead of double posting..

You probably only gained about 2 hp at most in the upper rpms with that intake. I doubt the dryflow would increase that. It filters the air better for the most part. Worth the $$ though.

DaOne 10-07-2010 08:02 PM

ppl get a good filter so that the air will get filtered better than a cheap one would.
not to get more horsepower...
unless i been missing something lol
and i agree with cvc about the hp gained.
it only feels faster because of the noise it makes

oh i thought u said on that video that without the pcv pipe you installed it would probably overheat o.O

it seems like u need to look for a tutorial on youtube on how to edit posts..lol
;]

i swear..everytime u post..u post twice..LOL

theRDRman 10-07-2010 09:05 PM

oh ok

well i said that becuase the intake will be suckin warm air in not fresh air. it will breathe air from the fan/rad heat

theblackpearl 10-07-2010 09:18 PM

lol, two posts again
