Injen CAI MR Tech

Got it put on today, pain in the a** indeed, but was worth it. Just letting you all know, i see a good power gain, my dads jaw dropped. The sound....is just incredible, im telling you I bust everytime I hear it :D. Great buy and definettly a step in the right direction. The only concern I have is you had to kind of cut out some of the wheel well, so its a bit sticking out into the wheel well, and if i turn my wheel all the way to the right, i have about .5 inches till i touch it with my wheel. So getting 18x8 aftermarket wheels and tires is out of the question? [&:]

Did the directions mention cutting the wheel well? I think I read their directions a few months ago and I can't remember seeing anything about cutting. Also, did you install the water trap thing that prevents hydrolock, should you drive through a puddle?

Yea it said it involves cutting out the wheel well. But no, the hydrolock thing kills the proformance from the CAI. I was in the hurricane in MD and I had no problems, just dont drive through a lake
