Injen CAI with MR technology

I haven't seen anything about this intake on the forum, and I just put one on my '05 EX. I originally wanted the AEM V2, and I ordered it from procivic.com. They were out of the V2s, and gave me $20 off any of their other intakes. I went with the Injen since it can be used as a short ram or as a CAI, and it uses the same dual-chamber technology as the V2. Overall, a good intake. I took an average of multiple runs for the 0-60 times

Comparisons
Stock : 0-60: 8.1 37.4mpg
With Injen intake used as a short ram: 0-60: 7.8
Used with the CAI attachment: 0-60: 7.7 38.6 mpg :)

Easy install, taking the stock airbox out was the most time consuming. 45 min total

Sounds a lot louder when you step on the gas, no matter how many RPM you are running. Screams in V-tec. Stays quiet when you are just cruising along though. The intake makes the throttle a lot more responsive too.
Hope this helps anyone looking for an intake, I would recommend this intake to anyone.

when you installed the injen cai did you have to do any cutting to the inner fender or anything. i'm looking at getting one but i don't want to have to hack up my car just to make it fit

Nope all I had to do was take out the battery tray. Kind of a tight squeeze but nope, I didn't have to cut anything:)

I had a K&N 57i kit installed, had a beautiful noice - just like you described - nice quiet on low revs, screaming at high revs and vtec. But i was on the dyno and it was shocking. I lost both power and torque. I went back for a simple K&N panel filter :S

How did you measure your 0-60 times? I'm sorry but I have to call BS on an intake increasing your 0-60 time that much.
