intake/exhaust (mpg)
 

What are peoples experience with putting on intakes and exhausts? Does it help or hurt fuel economy? If so what were the before and after mpg?

Unless you smack the gas harder and more often in order to hear the intake/exhaust "upgrades", the gas mileage won't change.

alot of people say intakes will help you gain mpg but i think its more of a scam to get you to buy buy buy in these all time high fuel prices. its not going to make a radical increase in mpg where your going to want one for every car you own for the rest of your life, your probably going to experience maybe a half mpg more. dont always believe it when an intake company says it will improve it by 5mpg. it also says it gives you more power, if your getting more power, your using more gas for combustion.
