Intake install question
 

Sorry i dont have a picture right now, but anyways... my question is on the 3 connections for the oem intake. I bought a cold air intake for my 2000 civic ex, however the airflow sensor and breather tube or whatever are the only connections to the CAI, which leaves one tube that comes from the bottom just hanging there. What is this? and What is it for? Is it important? please help asap. thanks. :confused:

No idea. I only know of two things on the 96-00 intake arm.

Temp sensor, and hose coming from the VC

oh not to mention, the hose also sucks up air when the engine is cool so from research im guessing it leads to the FIAV. can i just block it?
