Arrow Intake Manifold Question
So my engine looks like (Minus the upgrades) but where the CAI drops in on the intake manifold?

It would be nice to convert to that, considering the y8 intake manifold is the most effecient as far as I've heard. But is yours illegal? no.

well my dad happens to think its illegal and is willing to help me pay for a new aem CAI haha but id also wanna go with the y8 head, which should round up with vtec? right?

yea but you will need more than just a vtec head to make the swap.


just buy a stock intake and install it .. to pass your emissions.. then after put your cai back on.

so your saying buy the y8 intake stock? what more do i need to make the swap?

im saying the stock(factory) d16y7 intake (the piping and filter box) not the y8 intake manifold !

yes its illegal, ur in cali like me. Dont waste 300 bucks on an aem intake. Do what they said just swap the stock one back on for emissions testing.
