Default intake manifold upgrade? yes...no?

I want to give my y8 some more power and I don't have much money right now. I have a cold air intake, header, custom 2.25" exhaust, and a stage 2 Comp cam/springs. I was thinking about the Skunk 2 intake manifold...would if give me anymore noticeable power increase? If not then what would for around $250-270

Ever thought about a bigger throttle body?? You could pick on up for around 270ish if you looked hard enough.

save up a little more, and get the skunk manifold, and a bigger TB, it will be well worth it. With your cam, it will give you a good noticible gain.

Ok so the skunk 2 IM would give me a good noticeable gain with my cam? Like how much of a gain? Some where around like 6-8whp or what?

I really hate to give out estimates, but Id say just with the manifold around 7-11 crank HP, but with a combo of a bigger TB, say like a 62 or a 68mm, 14-17 HP. You'd feel it really well, especially in the midrange and topend.

a big TB and an intake manifold, with your currend mods, would yield probably around 11hp at the wheel

I might just do that then. Anyone have any dyno results of a manifold and bigger throttle body? I'd like to see how much it gives people. I don't really want to spend a lot of money on just a throttle body though. How about a b-series? Which one would be good to just bolt right up and not have to change anything or fabricate it? Im seriously thinking about the Skunk 2 IM now. I can get it on eBay for like 240 shipped, but I don't want to spend almost all my money and not even get a gain from it.

I dont have no dyno sheets, by when I installed my skunk im, and my 68mm TB portmatched, my car was crazy. And at that time the only mods I had was AEM CAI, DC header, and a free flowing exhuast. The top end mods really made a big difference. With your cam upgrade, I would think you will notice it twice as good as me.

there wont be any dyno sheets for your car with the mod because you have already modded your car. i stand by what i said with 10-12 hp
