how's an exhaust going to change the ride of the car at all?

why not stock replacement? salvage yards??

i dont mean the literal "ride" of the car as in handling characteristics, what i dont want is the MPG to be altered (unless it increases it of course), i dont want it to sound too loud and rice rockety, and i dont want to have to worry about altering anything underneath to get it to fit. i would just like a catback that will slide ride. i thought about getting some stock pipes but they cost way too much.

i want to avoid the salvage yard for pipes because i dont want to bring home some pipes, throw them on and then find out that its rattling too.

so does anyone have any knowledge or experiences with this particular set or know of any good websites, or shops i can visit to find a decent set for around the same price that this one is ($130.00)?

Get under the car and check the heat shields. They may be rattling. You can just pull them off.

Why are you replacing all the piping just because of noise from the cat (or just rattling heat shields)?

For what it's worth, I imagine that ebay set will give you more trouble than anything. I mean, $130 for a SS setup, that's blatantly false to begin with. Who knows how it will fit up.

When my original piping/muffler rusted out after 8 years, I just replaced it with OEM piping because I could just bolt it up myself, knew it would fit right and would last forever. It was actually cheaper than having a shop weld up some crappy piping that might last 5 years....been there done that on my last honda.
