Default Looking at a switchout

I recently put on one of those universal ebay now what I realize is a POS muffler and is not loud at all. I am looking at swapping it out and putting on a cherry bomb extreme muffler and switching the resonator out for straight pipe. Does this sound like a good idea, or do yall know of something better....FEEDBACK MUCH APPRECIATED!

loud doesn't necessarily equate to aurally pleasing. get on youtube and search for ur car with various mufflers, i.e. ractive, mugen, flowmaster, etcetera etcetera

That exhaust sounds like crap IMO. Raspy, noisy, and extremely unnecessary. If you like it, go for it I guess.

My suggestion would be for something a little quieter, like an Apexi WS2.

Yeah i talked to the guy he said it isnt as raspy it was windy that day... What about just a full catback instead? I want performance but also economical...if that makes sense..

wtf is ractive? stock civic piping is 1 7/8". Bumping to a 2" is almost worthless IMO.

BTW, Grants.. you have one header, not headers (unless you have another header sitting in your garage for some reason ), and I wouldn't go around toting that you have removed the cat. Not too many members here would promote you doing this.
