Default Magnaflow?

What would you rank magnaflow on a scale of 1 to 10 for performance and sound? 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. Looking at purchasing for my r18 civic.

7-8 for sound
performance difference is not really noticeable between different brands as long as the brands you compare to one another all have the same diameter piping

I would rate the sound as a 9 and performance as a 4 vs the stock exhaust performance as a 1. You really can't blame the exuast system because it doesn't bump horsepower by 5 or so. The real test is how little it restricts flow when the engine is pumping out large amounts of horsepower. In that case, I'm sure Magnaflow will be able to keep up a lot better than would the stock setup.

i just have a magnaflow resonator but that alone quieted down my exhaust ALOT. 8 on the sound, and i bet it's performance wouldn't be much worse if you got the cat-back.

I'm about to get a 7 psi turbo for my 08 civic. Would a magnaflow exhaust make a big difference vs. leaving the stock on for now?
or should i put the cat-back on and the turbo and then get it tuned?

you'll definitely want aftermarket exhaust with turbo.
either way you'll need a tune if you get a turbo.

I've already got the tuner in mind. Will the exhaust make a big difference after the tune? LIke if I use stock at first, then switch it, will in change my tune job? and need a new tune. I can't really even afford the turbo, and even less, to add on more parts.

I'm assuming it would at least a little, but a would it matter a lot? Also, would a different header make a huge difference too? Or would just new cat back be sufficient?
