Is the magnaflow catback exhaust legal in califorina? I have to pass a smog test soon and my exhaust has some holes in it. I thought I would just get a new exhaust that isnt loud and put it on but im not sure if its legal

 

magnaflow is legal. i'm actually pretty sure that most mufflers are legal (even ebay [:'(]), as long as you don't mess with the catalytic converter

the only exception that i can think of is exhausts that are above the 90db in volume... those are illegal. the only muffler that might be above that is the apexi n1 on a really powerful car. (eg. not a civic )

 

^^^^ Agree with my05civic, I also live in California. any exhaust will pass smog in California. I been buying Magnaflow mufflers for the last 6 yrs. Awesome products.

if possible, get custom. it's usually cheaper.

 

I know a guy in Cali who has Magnaflow on his EG... so i would assume it's legal.. and My05Civic, most ebay exhausts exceed the 90db limit lol
