Magnaflow Muffler #14815 on 2000 Civic DX Stock
I have a chance to buy this Magnaflow Muffler with dual tips. Stainless steel for $80 new.
Can I make it work on a Honda Civic DX Automatic stock body? The Specs:Part #14815 Inlet/Outlet Size: 2.25in./3in. Body Shape: 5in.x8in. Oval Core Size: Dual 2in. Body Length: 14in. Can View it at: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=14815 http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=14815 |
I am sure you can make it work if you take it to an exhaust shop to be welded on

Sweet Magnaflow install!
I went and bought the Muffler and had it installed same day! Looks very cool and sounds great, not to loud but has the sound when taking off.
Question...I was gunning the motor to hear that sound and noticed it the engine was cutting off at high rpm's! Is that normal. Do I have to do any reprogramming or change any sensors etc with this new magnaflow muffler? |
Cutting out in higher rpms? How high are your taking the motor to?
OEM ECU, correct? |
pics?

Don't have tach yet, so don't know but pretty freaking high!

OEM DX ecu? You might just be hitting the rev limiter/fuel cut off.
