MAJOR O2 SENSOR PROBLEM! HELP!!
 
alright i got my headers and all and so i decided to install em today. i took off my stock headers and everything was fine until......O2 sensor. the bolt that connects the O2 sensor to the headers will not come off! i've sprayed it with WD40 and tried and tried to get this to budge and just wont...its has rust and all and just wont come off...i decided to put the new headers on for now but im not gena drive it with out the O2 sensor in. this is a big problem cuz the hole where the O2 sensor is supposed to go is open now and when i drive the car its loud as s**t and when its idol it feels like its about to stall...[:@][:'(][:@][:'(][:@][:'(] this is such a B***H and i dunno wut to do. i called the local honda dealer and a new O2 sensor is freakin like $230 which is almost as much as the headers....SOMEBODY, ANYBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

ok, this is probably not goint to help but anyways. When I replaced my old header with a dc header, I had the same problem, it turned out that I was twisting the wrong way. Make sure you are loosening and not tightening it. Spray it with we40 several times.

^^^ THAT's interesting. Would have thought that would have been in the directions.

I've never worked with oxygen sensors, but for getting tough bolts off, instead of WD40 I use a penetrating oil like PB Blaster, a long breaker bar, and, um, a hair dryer (because I don't have a heat gun).

good luck getting that thing out. i broke mine off and ending buying a new one, but mines only like $130. I ended up paying a shop to drill the thing out though. Check autozone...thats where i got mine...

WOOO....i took the old header to meineke and finally some good news. the guy there said he'd be able to take it off for $10 so i left it there and hes gena call me back when i need to pick it up....finally, i hope everything goes well.
