get a megan racing one http://meganracing.com/products/prod...2&catid=67 they can be found cheaper, but if you live in cali the only header you can buy is a dc sports one...dont get that manifold

 

^ I believe Hedman Hedders Chikara header also carries some sort of smog legality in cali, also

and if it's the original motor in your 96 ex, it is a vtec

 

Thats also assuming he lives in the US. If he doesnt, he probably has the y7.
