Ok so I drove a stock 98' EX today from a dealership. I have a 00 EX with an I/H/E and the stock 98' was hardley any slower....WTF? that makes me mad. Anyone have any clue why this would be? Please help...My dyno numbers were 114whp...does that sound right with just i/h/e? Thanks

 

that sounds about right for IHE. IHE wont do TOO much on a stock engine...but build it up and put a turbo on and it will smoke the same car without the IHE (well...just the E if you do the turbo)

 

I think it depends how many miles are on your car, and how hard it's been beaten on, (if you're not the first owner) Also, I think there may be a bit of a weight difference but not positive.

 

yeah there are difference between 96-98 and 99-00

 

like they say "the grass is greener on the other side"... maybe ur just used to ur car and you THINK the stock is quicker.

 

i agree, your not going to get that much of a power difference with i/h/e that your going to feel a big difference between your car and another..but your on your way

 

perhaps your ride needs a tune up, some new plugs and plug wires may make it feel quicker

 

get it tuned and get a big TB and intake manifold. that'll help it out a lot too
