Default Need help with header problem

I recently installed a header on my 92 civic LX, and now after I drive the car for a few minutes the check engine light comes on. I doulbe checked the wires and harness for the O2 sensor and everything looks good. Does anyone have any ideas on why the check engine light comes on?
Also ever since the header installation, the car idles at a lower RPM. Sometimes it almost stalls. If anyone could help me out with these problems I would appreciate it. Thanks

your o2 sensor is not keeping up with the header flow you should get the code and see what it is (pepboys or another parts store can check for free) you might need to move the sensor down more,

Okay, thanks for the help. What do you do with the code after you get it? Do you have to change some setting in the ECU or somthing?

yeah that and try also resetting the CPU so it is preprared for the newly found air flow. do that by disconnecting the negative wire off the battery OR pulling the CPU fuse and putting it back in...let us know how it goes
