ok well heres my prob i have a d16z6 block with a d16y8 head. i put on the intake manifold (auto) with it from the y8 but i found out that it wont work due to the coverted auto to manual i did on the car. so this is what i did i took off the y8 intake manifold and put the z6 intake manifold (manual) on the y8 head heres where im running into probs its not sending any codes and also i was wondering if it wont start due to the vacuum lines that are on the y8 block and intake mainifold that are in between the intake pipes. because the z6 intake manifold doesnt have the vacuum in that area.
if this makes any sence help me out if you can if not please ask ill try to describe it better.
