I was wondering whats the best muffler for a 4 door automatic 98 civic ex. I want the best looking one and one that is not loud. I heard magnaflow is good since its not loud. Can someone tell me some names of mufflers that would look good on the civic and which magnaflow muffler would look best and be good for low noise.

 

Mufflers are a choice of personal liking...Asking what people think and your gonna get different replies from them. I personally haven't heard any Imports with Magnaflow. I have heard that Greddy Evo2 exhaust is pretty decent. Its quiet under normal driving but once you rip it open you can hear it...

 

The magnaflow will be quite at idle and louder when you get on it. Also, a magnaflow muffler isn't going to look the best, as it's located under your car. Most honda's you see have a tip on them. That's the muffler you are seeing that looks cool. If you want quite stay stock. That's pretty much the only option. There are very few aftermarket exhausts that don't make a lot of noise. Conserning looks. You could get a tip from walmart or o'reillys for like 15 dollars and add a little bit of class to your car, without making a lot of noise.

 

i've heard the sounds of magnaflow and they sound pretty good, not too loud and raspy. If you got more money i would get a apexi ws2. my personal favorite. you can also look at some obx twin loops, most twinloops are pretty quiet
