advice for 14's

TURBO

I think stock SI's run in 15's but not 100% sure so take it in your own risk.

its a D. By the way. Intake and turbo kinda contradict themselves. While u can get an "Intake for your turbo", its just really not. Lots of ppl just throw a cone filter over the edge of the turbo. Some use an intake type of deal where theres like 10 inches of pipe after the turbo and before the filter. The safest thing for u to do would be buy a greddy turbo kit. Dont spend money on anything, no speakers.......NOTHING.....save up 1300 and look on ebay for a used greddy kit. Buy it, install it and boost. Hello 14s. Get a really good tune, run 10 PSI and hello 13's. Turbo>I/H/E

As I often read, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Just call the company/seller and ask questions about the product. Also look to see if the product comes from a reputable company.

i think it was kappa...said that on his first car he just cut the shifter shorter with a hacksaw...worked just as well

also...a 50 shot of nos could help your times

14's on a D are gonna be expensive. I know. But like they said, turbo is going to be your best bet. You could probably do it N/A but it would cost a mint, but it would be sa-weet. So to answer your question... the cheapest way to get to 14's is NAAAWWWZZZZZ and lots of it, but to do it practically- junkyard turbo is the way to go.

And those e-bay shifters are fine, but the mufflers are trash.

Oh yeah, and the 5th gen "Si" is the Z6, right? Should be mid 16's in the quarter stock.
