i have a 93 ex coupe.... stock engine, d16 1.6l vtec. will turbo kill the engine no matter what, even if i change all my internals and have a mid range psi setting?

 

Good question. I have relatively high miles too and I want to boost, but don't want to spring for new internals.

I have heard/read that 5-7psi would be Ok for stockers, but that didn't take into account high milage motors.

 

Follow my Turbo Time thread as I am doing a turbo kit on my 94 si with a whopping 170k miles. All stock motor. Stock injectors. Stock timing belt and clutch. (the timing belt will be changed before the boost though)
