yea, CA emission sucks

i think i've found some, so something like this would work? btw, is the megan header and magnaflow cat a good setup, is there a reason you chose these? i think i will start looking at DC Sports headers instead, so would the dc header work good with the magnaflow cat? is there a place you recommend i get the dc sports from? ebay dont seem to have much for the D16's

Megan Header

Magnaflow Cat Converter

reason i chose megan header is because it's the best bang for the buck header if you don't have to have it CARB exempt (which i didn't think about in your case until now)

reason i chose magnaflow direct fit is because it's bolt on, and a good name brand

for the DC sports header just shop around until you find the best deal

btw if i go this route would the o2 sensors still work?

yea i'm not going to worry about this now, when it comes time to replace the cat then i might go this route, seems cheaper and easier to work with than the HX header/cat combo. I picked up a CEL P1040 or something like that and read that the cat might be bad, but i'm hoping its the o2 sensor. went out and scan the CEL couple days ago and nothing came back so i hope nothing is wrong. thanks for the help

OP: sorry for taking over your thread. we got the same setup so this should help you also.

o2 sensors will still work
you just need an extension harness from passwordJDM.com to relocate your secondary (AKA downstream) o2 sensor to the new catalytic converter location
