I got a 00 civic dx and Im going to be getting a new air intake (short ram) to replace the stock airbox. I cant decide which to get. The two Im debating on is the Weapon R Secret Weapon and the Injen. Which would be better? Or do you have another suggestion for a better one? THanks.

 

Most people prefer the AEM one but I bought the Injen Short Ram and it was great. Injen also sells an extension pipe just in case you want to change it into a CAI.

 

weapon r is a cool name. but injens stickers are so cool. j/k why not consider aem they are the leaders in air intakes and suck.

 

the weapon r secret weapon is supposed to be very good, i'd go with that. prolly best short ram other than AEM V2.

the AEM V2 IS NOT a short ram. but its not a CAI either. its a new design that uses a smaller pipe with a larger pipe around it. the larger pipe creates vibrations from the sound of the intake, and utilizes these to create smoother flowing intake


dont ask me how it works...some awesomely smart scientist dude whos way smarter than any of us figured out how to use this to work.

EDIT: oh yeah...id get injen cuz once you realize that a CAI is better than an SRI you can just buy the extention pipe
