New Mods
Im going to to be getting a Megan Racing Drift Spec Cat-back exhaust system for my 1999 civic ex, but what kind of intake and headers should i also order? links pls!
Or should I do an auto to manual swap first? (I really dont know how to drive manual. And I don't plan to race or anything like that) |
RE: New Mods
intake = AEM V2 Cold-Air system
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku header = Megan Racing or Hedmen http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku http://www.meganracing.com/products/...2&catid=67 There are obviously cheaper places to get the AEM V2 intake, but I like Summit Racing because the fast&free shipping (and great customer service)... also, you don't need to do the transmission swap, but everyone knows that 5-speeds are more fun to drive ;) |
RE: New Mods
yea, reaper doesn't have a manual but he's keep'n it real.
A short ram intake is less expensive and the gains between a cold air and short ram aren't very broad. If you would rather not spend over $200 dollars on a coldair intake go for a short ram. DC sports/AEMare good stuff but usually are a lil more expensive. Check ebay once you find the product you want for a better deal, just check the feedback rateing's and return policies befor buying. |

RE: New Mods
good choice on the megan catback:D
Also V2 is a very nice CAI but pricey. Honestly if you dont go with a V2 then get whatever, its all pretty much the same. If you live in a strict state with emissions, dont get the megan header because you wont pass. If live in an emission state then get it. Otherwise look at DC Sports Headers, Greddy, Apexi |
