O2 - cel

I just installed a Megan Racing header.. Which has 2 02 Sensor bungs on it..

There are two issues at the moment.

One issue is the First O2 Sensor is to short to reach from the header to the harness.

Second issue is, there is not enough room to put a Non-Fouler on the Second O2 Sensor. But the Second O2 Sensor is long enough to reach from header to harness.

Is this a possible solution: Use the Second O2 Sensor (the one with the longer wire) in place of the First O2 Sensor. Then just put a O2 Simulator in place of the Second O2 Sensor at the harness?

Only Problem with that I can think of is if the two O2 Sensors are constructed different, and the O2 Sensor #2 will not work properly if connect to the wire harness in place of O2 Sensor #1

well they do make plug and play extension wires for oxygen sensors and no you can't swap the sensors. also your still going the throw a cell light and be unable to pass emissions. your going to need this RoBear Racing. Megan Racing Angled 02 Simulator: CEL Fix

Thought a simulator was a connection placed at the harness end.. doing away with the need of the O2 sensor completely.

That "RoBear Racing.." looks more like a bung angle extension.

And that does not really help much in my situation.
What I need is a O2 wire extension, but one that is only 5in max. I need a working #1 O2 sensor to regulate the Fuel & Intake. So I'm not "running rich" ..

All I can find are O2 wire extension in 1ft - 3ft lengths.

There is no emissions regulation in my state, and a CEL does not bother me..
