obd what??

I did a search and Super Mario says,

"OBD1 uses PGMEFI (Programmed MulitportElectronic Feul Injection). and I think OBD2 is the same just more precise because it uses a second O2 sensor after the catalytic converter (Hence OBD2)."

Ok, is that a computer deal? I think my computer and/or throttle body is OBD1 (94 ex). Does this mean I can't use a OBD2 throttle body? Or can I?

RE: obd what??

you cant, ob1 goes with ob1 parts and ob2 goes with ob2. i dunno about ob0 though. The biggest difference between ob1 an ob2 is that in ob2 the government made more regulations so they had to start putting in the ob2's. ob1 has a little bit better performance, but not much. but if u need every hundreth of a second, then ob1 is the way to go.

Ok, to start from the very beginning, OBD stands for OnBoard Diagnostics. Basically, (in the simplest terms) you can hook a code reader to your ECU and it'll read any error codes and tell you what's (supposedly) wrong.

yeah, the mechanical things should be fine. its the electrical things that matter on OBD.
