Default Performance help.

First of all i just purchased AEM SRI and DC race sport header. And in my opinion it is worth the cash. I definately noticed the differnce in power and it sounds bad ***.

I just wanted to post a message on some help on other purchases. I want to do all the little engine mods i can do without supercharging or turboing my vehicle. For example, Exhaust, Pulleys ect..... What else can i really do? I just ordered the Evo2 exhaust and i think ill be very satisfied. Can you guys give me some ideas and links..

O also i am very interested in the ECU chips. Would these be benificial to me or no?

If your not going to build your engine then i see no reason in chipping the ECU or altering it in any way. now if you do decide to put in new cams then maybe depending on what cams you use. but if you don't then you may as well take a hand full of metal flakes and put them in the engine, you wil have twice the power you would if you just threw a performance ECU on it without proper modification

Look into perhaps a port n polish job on your head. New cams would be good along with new pistons, valve springs, etc. Also what type of engine do you have or civic? If it isn't an EX or Si I would look into an EX tranny and VTEC head. So far it seems like your doing good with your mods so far though, keep it up. For better handling you can look into suspension (springs, struts etc.), short throw shifter, strut bar, sway bar etc. Hope this gave you some ideas.

Well your set for your tranny and head.. all that's left is to... BOOST . I'd say look into a JRSC so the money you just spent on an intake and headers won't be wasted going turbo. Your best bet is to try ebay for a super charger or ask around on as many forums as you can to try and find a good deal.
