Pipe Diameter 97 ex.

What is a the original dia. of the stock exhaust and what would be a good size for replacement exhaust piping in a daily driven 97 EX?
just in case i am lost for money on cat-back, cuz they are expensive. :)

2.25 is PERFECT for the n/a civic... what are you talking about pwnedu? 3" is good for a turbo civic but 2.25 will do just as good.

my plan was too go N/A but i wanted a muffler shop to build athe piping and then get a good muffler, cat, etc. but that is if i can't get the money to afford a magnaflow.

What do you mean? I meant don't rice it out by piecing it together, he was talking about making a 2" exhaust I thought. I was just suggesting that he save up and buy a quality 2.25 catback instead of waisting time on 2".
