The custom (please don't cheap out on the muffler... cheap universal mufflers sound like crap after 100 miles or so) exhaust would be a lot cheaper than a full cat-back. Don't quote me on this, but I'd guess itd be around $100-$150 to bend all the tubing and hang the muffler, if that. Just don't forget to get a resonator, or it'll sound kinda raspy. I'd check into Magnaflow resonators; I've heard good things. They run around $100 on http://www.summitracing.com/, and best of all, free (and fast)shipping!

 

If you buy a catback exhaust do they already have this resonator with it, and exactly what does it do?
