quiet exhaust that looks almost stock?

Don't know if this will exist as it seems people who buy a new exhaust are looking for a bit more power and some noise for money. I'm looking for an exhaust that looks almost like stock on the civic vti (b16), but doestn't have much extra noise under say 3500rpm, so I can drive it through town with a bit of subtlety. It can make as much noise over that as anything, I dont mind! Also, if it was less than an inch bigger (diameter) than the stock exhaust that would aid my quest in building a 'Q car'! I've read the other posts on this sort of thing but they focus on just noise and not the size of the exhaust. Any help here would be cool, otherwise I guess I'll be resigned to buying a greddy evo 2 or something. Which is no bad thing from what I've read!

cheers

'buy a chrome tip'. ha ha. Seriously, has no one else gotten sick of being thrown in with the 'ricer' scene? And I know everyone must be sick of that bloody drone on a long drive. You get in a porsche and drive slow, or fast but at a steady speed its as quiet as an economy car, it just makes the noise when you accelerate hard which is how it should be in my mind. Why can't you get an aftermarket exhaust that does this? A 4 cylinder engine is rarely gonna sound all that great, so why would I want to hear it at 3000rpm on the motorway??
