Ram Air Or Cold Air intake??
 
I have a 99 honda civic ex and im looking at intakes and they have the ram air and cold air....Which won do i want to get???? wut is the diffrence?? Thanx

I would get cold air because its cold air. The difference between them is short ram gets air from the engine bay and cold air gets the air from under the fender. My opinion is if your gonna get short ram you might as well the the stock air box. Oh yeah and just incase you ask bypass valve are overrated.

where do you live? rainy area like Houston or what?
you dont want to suck all the water and mud up.
I am using an SRI. it's alright. I think AEM CAI is kinda waste of money.

maybe where your at.......the amount of rain we get here has owned a couple of my customers cars. imo short ram with a velocity stack.

short ram with cold air box if u want the tiny extra hp and it rains/floods a lot in ur area. cai if it dosnt flood much. sri if u dont care for that extra 2-3hp yet still want that nice lil roar, good throttle response, and few hp over stock.
