Do you need anything special on your exhaust for turboing other than the size of the pipe?(2.5"-3")

If not exhausts like the evo 2 or the skunk2 mega power would work correct? there wouldnt be any fitment problems after I put in the turbo, right?

The only thing you have to do special is have a downpipe made. An exhaust shop (or a friend with a welder if available) can take two flanges and a piece of bent pipe, that will mate your cat-back to the turbo.

 

I can do that later though correct? I would just have to unbolt the exhaust and stick it on


my friend has a tig welder and he's not to shabby at it so that will be fairly cheep to do.

 

turbo will work with any exhaust.

there are some exhuasts that are made specially for turboed cars such as the greddy evo TT and i think tanube makes one

 

Just have piping made at an exhaust shop.

 

I probably will when I get my turbo but that is a few months away. January at the soonest
