which size exhaust piping??
ok heres the deal, currently have d15b7 motor, i do plan to swap in a b16 or b18 but not anytime soon, i want to get the megan racing catback from street styler cause its a pretty decent price only $350 with shipping, but it comes in 2.5 inch pipping, is that a big deal compared to the 2.25 inch piping, will i feel a loss in power or is that size fine?

RE: which size exhaust piping??
you'll be fine for the time being. The power you could possibly lose (there's no absolute garuntee that you'll even lose power... just a chance) won't be noticeable.
The general rule of thumb is 2.5" or smaller for NA vehicles and 2.5"+ for FI vehicles. Most people say 2.25" because it's a pretty common pipe size that happens to be right in the middle of the recommended minimum pipe size (2") and recommended maximum pipe size (2.5") for a NA car. |
RE: which size exhaust piping??
i heard street styler shipping is LONG, so stay away from them
