skunk2 intake question
 
hi
i brought a skunk2 intake mani off of ebay, it didnt come with any instructions.
i had a quick look and i can see where most of the stuff lines up (only took me 2 hours to find the TA sensor hole [:@] )

but on the skunk2 mani i have 2 small tubes , and dont know what thay are for, can anyone help ?

pretty sure its just a vaccume line.

I got one installed on my car, Ill have a look tomorow and tell you what exactly they're for.

Ok, I don't know the exact name of these parts so I had to make this sorry looking pictogragh to try to explain where your lines go. The one in the front goes to this round looking thing located on your fuel rail, on the right side of the fuel rail. The second connection behind the manifold, there's like a solinoid that goes in there, and the vacum line coming from that solinoid goes down lower in to a metal connector. Hope this helped, let me know if everything worked out ok.

Thanks thats a great help, i can see where those two go now. but now i found another one that i cant work out where it goes or what hooks up to it. take a look at the attached image.

also im thinking of getting the hondata gasket but its only for a D16Z, it should if my d15 right ?

guess what i found :eek:

its the skunk2 instuctions. it says that all i need to do is block it off with a vacumme cap,

anyways anyone that may need teh instuctions in the future there here

lol well it made sense to me, im trying to learn about each stuff that i put on my car. and this is the first major engine modification, that i am doing, so im probally being over cautious. fast93civic's post actually help me alot. becasue even with the skunk2 instructions, i would still be confused what the two little tubes did. im now confident that i can go on and fit it.

cars are so confusing, why cant they be like computers then id be sorted.
