Speaking of CAI

My first post over here and i am somewhat lost with all the abbreviations and such - all stock on a 1988 Civic LX 1.5 liter with manual and throttle body.

read a few posts and in one of the threads saw:
"Hondas dont have MAF's so you could put a freaking filter over the throttle body if u wanted, thats a slim ram intake, and they make insane power numbers."

Was in a parts store today and was trying to figure if the above could be rigged-up, or does someone make an afteremarket set-up that does just that.

RE: Speaking of CAI

not that i know of. you'd have to rig it yourself and it's possible. you'd just have to have something to hook the vacuum and sensor up to between the filter and throttle body. though i'm not familiar with the 88 civic so i'm sure they're considerably different from a 99 civic intake like mine...
so someone else should chime in with a definite answer.
