SRI VS CAI

I'm not so sure I belive this. I have the V2 on my car and at a car wash(in no waywasthe filter sumbmerged) on a hot day I pull in and have the ac running low and about 4 min in my car starts to run really ruff. when I go to press the gas it died. So my car is dead its only half way through but i'm a little concerned so I go to turn my car on and drive out to look at it. As soon as I started it sounded like it was running under water and died a second later. I wait for thewash to finish and push my car out to look at it. I go to start it again and nothing happened. Open the trunk to get the tools out pull the CAI off at the TB and there is water in the TB and a wall of suds in the CAI pipe. Cleaned the water out with a cloth and pulled the plugs and dried them. Went to go start it and ran really rough and could not hold idle for about 4 or 5 minutes. Rans decent so I go to drive it but hesitates then starts to run normal. Untill I was at 4000 and punched it it sound like it was under water again so I pull over and ran it at 5500 for a minute and ran fine ever since. And I no longer half *** my wash jobs.

And magicman, AEM and K&N are the top intake brands (at least in the U.S.)... you'll be happy with either intake.
the search button sucks, i rather get new opinions from new people, personally thats what the message boards are about. As long as there arent the same exact questions on the same page it shouldn't be a big deal imo. thats why i like this forum a lot better than honda-tech.
but get a short ram, i have an injen short ram and it rules, i love the added sound of my engine when im accelerating.

would a bypass vavle really prevent the engine from sucking up water? i mean does it really work?
