i have a AEM SRI and i was wondering if i would notice a difference if i got a CAI.

I was informed that the difference was only a 1hp difference when i was in the market but deffently do some research for yourself. Hope that helps a little bit.

i don't know I've had a cold air intake and a SRI and I think it may only have 1 or 2 horse power more. In my opinion the short ram is better it didn't tend to cloud out my vtec sound like the CAI and it isn't obnoxiously loud at really low speeds. I like the short ram.

BUT this was a comparison between a preferred 2.5' on SRI and a 3' on CAI.

 

i have an aem SRI on my 02 coupe, and i love it. payed 100 bucks less then a CAI, and it performs just as i expected. love it.
