Default For those that are running skunk2

Anyone who is running the skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body:

Did you loose bottom end torque? I would assume you would. What I'm trying to figure out is if the intake manifold and throttle body is worth the money if I'm looking for mid range power.

But I'm thinking it's not.

4-2-1, WS2, and V2 seems to be the best combo and as far as you can go with simple bolt ons before you start loosing the daily driver powerband. I'm thinking the only other step one could take is one of the mild cams to increase 3k-5k rpm power. My other HUGE concern is MPG.

Uhhh...I like my skunk manifold. I have it hooked up with a BBK 62mm and i have no problem with things on the low. Of course im already spooling up at 2500, so that might be helping.

I was referring to a relatively stock NA motor.

I have a skunk2 mani and 62mm t/b on a n/a set up and i have to say it is an improvement, the civic is a lot more throttle responsive, u only have to tap the accelerator when starting off in first and it wants to lunge forward. I saw gains throughout the rev range and I can prove it as my friend in his del sol and i were even with the same mods before i but the s2 and t/b on and now i pull on him.
The gain isnt a massive one but it does sound awesome and as i said before the throttle response is crazy. Only problem is it whistles when getting on the gas.
I think if you chucked a stage 2 valvetrain in there things would really start to cook.

Yeah I saw nice gains on my D17 w/ the S2 IM and 66mm TB. Down low I may have lost a tiny bit, but the mid-range gains more than make up for it.
