Throttle body size for heavy modded car
Hey guys I know its been a while, college has been taking up all of my time. Also I haven't had money so no mods. But Christmas is coming, so I'm looking into throttle bodies. I can get a 68 mm for fairly cheap. So If I could go that big I'd be happy. Let me know what size you think. Also I have Crower 402s and a header on the way. so keep that in mind.

Nice to see you back on the forums, john :D
Anyway, I really see no reason you couldn't step up to a 68mm TB. I mean, you have an intake, intake manifold, cams and a header on the way, raised CR, and a full cat-back. At this point, I'd say the d16 throttle body could definitely be a restriction in the system. |
Ya I kinda ran out of money at the end of the build, but someone told me I couldn't go bigger than 65 so I'm extremely confused. But ya hopefully after this, header, cam and nos the car will dominate...
