uh-oh?? or oh yea!
So i'm putting my motor in today, y7/y8 mini-me, and a few thoughts went through my head....
My car's a 2000 ex coupe, 5 speed. obd2b The bottom end is a y7 and the top end is a y8. A strange feeling came over me and i had to go check and i hope i havent made a mistake. The y8 head and intake manifold dont have air injection hole in them... The reading i'm doing, however, states that 99-00 have the air injection holes... Is this going to make a difference when the car is idling? I know when you use an air injection manifold on a non air injection car it will make the motor idle really high, but will my ecu compensate for using a head and IM without them? sorry for creating a new thread, i had no idea where else to post this! its kind of an intake topic! ;) thanks, Newb! |
