He is talking about the intake manifold, the aluminum part between the head and the throttle body.

yeah and im talking about how theres no such thing as a 'vtec manifold' because vtec has nothing to do with the manifold...

He's just talking about an intake manifold from a vtec equipped car. Basically the EX. If you plan on adding parts you should just do a mini me swap. Look in the DIY board and it'll tell you how to do everything.
