I just installed my AEM origional CAI yesterday, and yes I did feel the difference. Before I had a rigged short ram. The engine seems to rev a bit quicker and pulls harder overall. An investement well worth it.

Position sucks you say? Have you done your research? The AEM V2 places the air intake/filter down just inside the bumper with proven tests that show the air temp differance is over 50 degrees cooler that standard air intake. The SRI is the one that has no difference. Please, do the research first...

I have a 03 LX with an AEM V2 intake. I love it. the filter position is right behind the battery. My intake says really really cool all of the time. I knew a guy that had a generic chrome intake on his prelude, and it got scortching hot. The V2 is well worth the money in my opinion. You should get one too.

as i always say...HP is based on percentages, not set numbers. but on any civ engine the gains will be about 5-8 hp for an AEM CAI...im not sure about the V2 tho
